Gretchen’s come by to tell us about her new book TEN. I’ve heard lots about this book so I’ve been waiting to read it!
First let’s hear from Gretchen:
1) Tell us something fun about your new book, it can be a character detail, something that inspired the story, or a behind the scenes story from the writing process.
TEN is an homage to Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None, mashed up with old school Christopher Pike horror. The main character’s name is Megan Pritchard, a reference to Mathew Prichard, Agatha Christie’s grandson and her only surviving relative.
2) What do you like to do when you aren’t writing?
I love live theater, group events, happy hours, concerts, art openings – anything that gets me out and about!
3) If you weren’t an author- what job would you choose?
Well, in the last incarnation of my career I was an opera singer so…that!
4) Rapid fire round!
