GCC Welcomes Mindi Scott!
I’m excited to have Mindi Scott with me on the blog today. Mindi and I will be doing an event together in early November here in Vancouver so she’s now stuck with being one of my new BFF’s. Her new book, LIVE THROUGH THIS is out now and getting amazing buzz.
ABOUT THE BOOK

Mindi stopped by to answer some questions:
1) Tell us something fun about your new book, it can be a character detail, something that inspired the story, or a behind the scenes story from the writing process.
My character in Live Through This is on the dance team at her school and dancing is a big part of her life. Me? I am not a dancer at all. Other people can watch someone else to learn moves, but my brain/body don’t work that way. I’ve always been jealous of Baby on Dirty Dancing because she had both Johnny and Penny to train her. Penny would literally hold onto Baby’s hips and force her to move correctly. I would love training like that!
2) What do you like to do when you aren’t writing? I love going to the beach or any other watery place. Beach + Books = My Favorite
3) If you weren’t an author- what job would you choose? I’ve never felt like I was good at anything besides writing. So, if I wasn’t writing novels, I’d probably choose to write (or maybe edit) in some other capacity.

Currently Reading: Nothing! I’m a binge reader and I would never get anything done ever in my life if I were allowed to read whenever I wanted. Right now, it’s non-reading week for me.
Sweet or Salty: Salty in the morning; sweet in the afternoon.
Morning or Night person: I’m really neither. I’m more of an early afternoon person.
Coffee or Tea: I prefer the taste of coffee, but I drink tea more frequently.
Favorite Holiday: Probably Thanksgiving. It has the most traditions for my husband and me.
Favorite TV Show: Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Favorite Indulgence: Champagne fondue
